Accepting Expressions of Interest for Providing Prior Learning Assessment Services
The CSMLS Certification department provides Prior Learning Assessments (PLA) on behalf of the profession for MLT regulatory authorities across Canada.
PLA assessors evaluate education and experience equivalence for Internationally Trained Medical Laboratory Technologists and non-EQual™ accredited Canadian MLT program graduates against the CSMLS Competency Profiles.
We are currently looking for a bilingual General MLT PLA assessor.
To be considered, you must be:
- CSMLS certified General Medical Laboratory Technologis
- Current CSMLS member
- Currently working in the field

Accepting Proposals for Translation Services
CSMLS is currently seeking an individual to translate examination material and other certification content.
To be considered, you must be:
- Certified translator (English/French)
- CSMLS certified medical laboratory professional
- Current CSMLS membe
To apply, please submit your proposal, a copy of your translation certification and information related to your fees/hourly rates to certification@csmls.org by January 31, 2022. This is a fully remote, fee for service contract, on an as-needed basis only.
