Pandemic Impacts on Mental Health

December 10, 2021
CSMLS, along with The Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and Sonography Canada (SC) have issued a joint statement calling for immediate attention to mental health and wellbeing of health care professionals.

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a profound impact on Canadian health systems, and we are one of the few health professional groups that collected and analyzed data pertaining to mental health prior to its onset. Combined with new data gathered in 2021, we are able to assess the impact of the pandemic directly.

For more information, a full report with the evidence to support our strategies is available on the CSMLS website.
