Mental Health First Aid Funding

March 05, 2024
As part of CSMLS’s commitment to Mental Health Support, we are providing funding for managers, supervisors and other leaders to receive Mental Health First aid training.

Mental Health First Aid is the help provided to a person developing a mental health problem, experiencing the worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis. Just like physical first aid is provided until medical treatment can be obtained, MHFA is given until appropriate support is found or until the crisis is resolved.

If you feel you could benefit from this course, we encourage you to apply. The training is available in both French and English. Please note, we may not be able to accommodate everyone who applies. Our current funding is limited to 20 people. Upon completion of the course, CSMLS will reimburse the cost of the program up to $300. We will require you to complete an anonymous exit survey, prior to submission of receipts.

Thank you for your interest in the course. If you have any questions, please send them to research@csmls.org.
