Five of Iqaluit’s eight laboratory technologists were reportedly driven to resign after being excluded from Nunavut’s pandemic compensation said to be for health professionals.
CSMLS brought the exclusion to the attention of the CBC, with CEO Christine Nielsen stating “The [lab technologists] that are left, they definitely need to be given the respect due for their expertise.”
