To work in Canada as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) you must pass the CSMLS certification exam. There are 2 ways you can become eligible to challenge the exam:
- Successfully complete a Canadian Medical Association (CMA), accredited MLT education program.
- Be declared equivalent through the CSMLS Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) process and meet our language requirement.
