Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT)
A member who is certified by CSMLS and is working, or actively looking for work, in the field of medical laboratory science. This is an annual membership that will expire on December 31st of each year. Membership fees are not prorated.
Please Note:
Newly certified MLTs receive membership application upon completion of certification exam. Previously certified MLTs must contact Finance and Administration for initial membership application process. Lapsed memberships may be reinstated.
Professional Liability Insurance (PLI) is mandatory for employment in most provinces. Check your provincial regulations for requirements.

CSMLS Student Membership is available to those currently enrolled in either:
- A full time medical laboratory technologist training program leading to CSMLS certification
- A full time (minimum 300 hours) CSMLS approved medical laboratory bridging program.
