CSMLS is proud to announce the launch of two new and exciting online resources to promote the field of medical laboratory science.
The Self-Assessment Readiness Tools© (SART©) are designed to help internationally-educated health professionals (IEHPs) understand the requirements for medical laboratory science professions in Canada: Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) and Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA). The tools describe knowledge, skills and abilities that are expected of Canadian MLTs and MLAs and provide information to support migration to Canada for those interested in the medical laboratory science field.
SART© was produced with content from CSMLS, funding from Health Canada and the assistance of Atlantic Connections. Atlantic Connections offers many resources for internationally educated health professionals (IEHPs) who may wish to settle in the 4 eastern provinces of Atlantic Canada www.atlanticcanadahealthcare.com
There are two separate tools which outline the following professions: Medical Laboratory Technologists and Medical Laboratory Assistants.
