CSMLS President’s Radio Interview from LABCON2013

 On Thursday May 9th, CSMLS President, Heather Autio, was interviewed on CFAX-1070 radio program, House of Common with Frank Stanford. Heather was able to call into the show at the start of LABCON2013 which is held in Victoria, BC, and home to the radio program. During the interview, Heather explained to the host that the medical laboratory profession is not regulated in her home province of British Columbia. Mr. Stanford, and his listeners, learned more about medical laboratory profession regulation and how it affects patient safety in the province.
