CJMLS is published quarterly – Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. It contains articles on trends in medical laboratory science, perspectives on the laboratory profession and laboratory safety. The Spring and Fall issues feature a separate scientific section. Subscription is complimentary with CSMLS membership, but subscriptions for non-members are available.
CSMLS publishes an annual report that contains an overview of the Society's activities, the auditor's report and consolidated financial statements. The annual report is available to members via the website or in print copy, by request. The annual report is issued in April of every year and is reviewed at the annual general meeting.
The CSMLS eNEWS is a bi-weekly email delivered directly to your inbox with the latest updates, news and events of the society and the laboratory profession. The eNEWS service is free to anyone that registers with a valid email address.
The CSMLS conducts health services research to inform policy and decision-making on the education and certification of Canadian medical laboratory technologists. The goals of this research are to serve as a conduit for information about the profession and to support knowledge creation and knowledge translation about the medical laboratory profession. Reports for past research are available for review.
The Laboratory Safety Guidelines – Seventh Edition is Canada’s most comprehensive resource on laboratory safety. Authors Gene Marie Shematek and Wayne Wood have put together the most up-to-date and relevant safety material.
